GIW 2010

 Dear Colleague,

The 21th International Conference on Genome Informatics (GIW 2010) will be held at Hangzhou, China, December 16-18, 2010.  GIW is the longest running international bioinformatics conference in the world. The scope includes all works that are ultimately devoted to the computational understanding of biological systems at molecular level and the aims are to present recent results of both theoretical and practical research, to show new applications, to demonstrate biological systems, and to discuss future research orientation.

Original papers are solicited for the 21th International Conference on Genome Informatics (GIW-2010). Papers are welcomed in all areas that lead to a computational understanding of biological systems at the molecular level, including both theoretical and practical research, particularly at a genome-wide scale or with a systems orientation. Contributed papers are subject to rigorous peer review.

Full papers are limited to 12 pages, including title, abstract (250 words or less), figures, tables, text, and bibliography. The first page should give keywords, authors' postal and electronic mailing addresses. Papers must not have been previously published and must not be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. Papers will be submitted electronically in MS Word, postscript or PDF format.

All submissions will be rigorously peer reviewed. There are no book series or proceedings for GIW2010. All accepted papers of GIW2010 will be published as journal papers by BMC Bioinformatics or Journal of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology
